    The Makita 18-Volt X2 LXT (36-Volt) Lithium-Ion Brushless Rear Handle 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw (XSR01PT) combines brushless motor technology with dual 18V LXT batteries for cordless, high-performance cutting. The electronically controlled BL Brushless motor adjusts torque and RPM to match the application, delivering up to 5,100 RPM for efficient cuts. X2 LXT technology allows users to complete demanding tasks like cutting sheet and dimensional lumber without a cord, using the same 18V batteries across the LXT tool series.

    This rear-handle circular saw offers a 2-9/16" cutting capacity at 90 degrees, capable of cutting three times the material in a single pass. With an electric brake and automatic speed change technology, the XSR01PT ensures maximum productivity. The lightweight design (12.4 lbs with batteries) features a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard, die-cast aluminum blade cover and motor housing, and a compact 17-1/2" length for ergonomic handling. Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) enhances resistance to dust and water, and built-in star protection computer controls safeguard against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
